The original animation inspired me that much, I just HAD TO get it right! I don't know, this took me ages until I was satisfied...I was busy with this the last two weeks. Corrections, ditched ideas or textures, redoing things...!
The only thing that bothers me is with the limited frame count (18 at 0.07s delay each) is that the heart/head beat is a bit too fast. But hey.
Finally done, enjoy and drop a comment if you like!
Done after listening to the song in a loop 50+ times. I'm gonna go to bed now.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique
ImpactI really like how this piece turned out! I like the simplicity but detail in this pixellated piece. I also like the overall symbolism here. There are still a couple of points that I feel I could raise. The first would be the animation. While this kind of animation where a bunch of separate pieces follow their own things is all fine and dandy, but I feel like there could be a bit more dynamism here. Also, I find it a bit strange that he shadow only has a headbopping animation while the ghost has so much more than that. In addition, I feel like there should be a bit more in common with how the two are animated. Finally, I feel like the shadow;s hair lines are a teensy tad bit awkward here. I feel like they could be slightly touched up. Still, this is an awesome piece and I love it.
