Since that's a thing and people might be interested, why not? :dummy:

This might also help me reflect a bit on my interests and development over the years.

How long have you been on DeviantArt?

8 years so far!

What does your username mean?

A soul explosion! :happybounce:

Describe yourself in three words.

Correct - Curious - Complicated

Are you left or right handed?

Right, but no keyboard without the left. =P

What was your first deviation?

Oh god please no-

What is your favourite type of art to create?

Currently animated emoticons, but I REALLY want to get into proper drawing (see first deviation *hurk*) and then animating THAT! But I'm really having issues with starting to work on something. Probably video games, distractions in general. I'm working on it and I hope there will still be interested people around when I get to an acceptable level. I just hope it won't take years.

If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

A mix of western and japanese comic style that I'd animate the shit out of.

What was your first favourite?

Good old flash animations! :happybounce:

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

Nothing specific really, but it needs a certain level of quality. Also drawing tutorials. For when I start to use them. :paranoid:

Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

CookiemagiK, now sadly inactive, who inspired me to start creating emoticons, as it seemed easy enough to get started with animating. The fluidity and detail of his animations are astonishing and I think I'm getting close to his quality. I'm still missing a ridiculously incredible deviation to be on par with his work though. I'm working on it.

If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

Several regulars and people I contact more often (you know who you are!), but if we aim for the inspirational people, I'd say DanSyron, as he seems to be a cool guy with even "cooler" (more like "insanely awesome") animations. I'd probably bother him too much with asking about animation techniques in Adobe After Effects though, and I yet have to get to trying out the files he sent me once. Please forgive me.

How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

Pretty much everyone shaped my thinking and work with discussions, pep talk and silly nonsense, but honestly private events have changed me more dramatic than being on deviantArt, as I can distance myself pretty well from what's happening on a screen, compared to real life. I'd love to have a determined coach who's able to get me off my lazy and distracted ass though. :giggle:

What are your preferred tools to create art?

Photoshop CS6, best thing for making emoticons! :la: Also a gaming rig at the same time, who would've guessed? :dummy:

What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

Inspiration hits me on the long commute to work/home (I commute 4h total every day. I know, it's ridiculous), when surfing on the web or even while working on a specific piece. Music is a big factor. When something REALLY hits me, there's no holding me back!

What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

That CookiemagiK actually replied to my comments and notes, even while being overwhemled by the positive response on his work. And the overwhelmingly positive response on my first daily deviation. And the ongoing activity on my loyal watchers, who I hope will still be around when I finally get rid of my laziness! :la:
